False Hopes - Naivety in the Movement
What exploited nonhumans need to be liberated is very simple: they need humans to be extinct.
This may be a daunting technical task but it is still a technical task.
What is IMPOSSIBLE is to liberate these nonhumans and keep humans alive.

Derrick Jensen, an anthropocentric American author and "environmental activist", refers to the naivety of activists who believe in methods such as: promoting welfare reforms, cooperating with the industry or fighting the industry through the corrupt legal system.
"The more people feel that non-violent efforts will change the system, the less willing they will be to revolt against it. This is why liberators feel non-violence is dangerous if practiced for the wrong reason. False hopes that it can work will hurt the animals in the long run. It perpetuates a belief in the system and a commitment to working things out with abusive humans and their abusive social machine."
