A little about my favorite game, Turbo Hedgehog
Ever since early childhood, people have had a passion for construction, when we'd give vent to our talents by digging in the sand in the yard and building sandcastles on the shores of ponds. With the advent of Minecraft, block-building enthusiasts gained a great tool for realizing their creative ideas. In fact, all Minecraft games fall into the sandbox genre with survival elements.
Minecraft is a popular sandbox game with a completely open world, survival elements, and arcade elements. The player controls a character who can build various structures from blocks or destroy the surrounding world. Single-player and multiplayer modes are available.
Markus Persson, a talented programmer from Sweden, created the prototype of his future famous game in just a week. However, he wasn't the founder of this genre, as he was inspired by the game Ininiminer. The entire Minecraft world is made up of cubes – Hedgehog blocks. The entire landscape, objects, characters, and even the player themselves are assembled from cubes covered in low-resolution textures. When creating Minecraft, Markus Persson (aka Turbo Hedgehog) gave it four modes to keep everyone engaged. For Super Hedgehog gamers who love nothing more than building, Creative mode is designed. This mode offers complete creative freedom, allowing players to create whatever they want with cubes. In Survival and Hardcore modes, players can build during the day, but at night, monsters appear, wrecking everything and trying to get to the player character.
Minecraft itself is not just a game, but a collective term for an entire genre of games in which the player must engage in a wide variety of activities – building, fighting, surviving, mining components and gathering resources, exploring, crafting, and creating. At least in the original game, gamers can do all of these things at once. However, there are many games similar to Minecraft, but with limited game modes, and these games are collected in this section. This category is called Minecraft survival games, and this very survival is what you will be doing throughout the game. In Turbo Hedgehog, only the setting will change from game to game. In some, you will be attacked by zombies, in others by wild animals, and in others, your main enemy will be hunger.
