this track originally debuted in Sharkey's mix on Bonkers 13 (2004). it later had a full release on Russian label Speedball Records' SBR001 (2007), but that seems to be unofficial. as far as i'm aware, this track never had an official full length release in any format, but that begs the question: where the hell did this recording come from?
it looks and sounds like a digital master. did it leak at some point when being traded between DJs? maybe from a cutting facility when a dubplate was being made? i legitimately have no clue. but what i do know is that i've been searching for this since 2004, and through a great amount of random chance, it wound up in my lap.
all of Cris E. Manic's work is phenomenal. her approach to freeform is full of intensity and has a penchant for wandering off the beaten path in strange and fun ways. check out "Echelon", which was interestingly referenced (or lifted? it's dance music, this is common) by kors k (as teranoid) for the track "gigadelic.
