Dimitri was a rebel who was notorious for vandalising anything that represented the crown order or the queen herself. He was thrown in jail and escaped multiple times, eventually the authorities had enough of his reckless antics and sentenced him to death via 'harpooning' (the name should explain the method well enough).
At the last moment he was saved by Wren, a fellow rebel who was a part of a growing rebellion that shared similar ideals to Dimitri.
What he doesn't realise is that he's a lot more important to this group than he thinks.
