How to Remove Malicious Remote Access Software
Recently while reading the December 2021 edition of the AARP Bulletin December, I saw a question asked in their “Ask the Fraud Team” section. It wasn’t the question asked that piqued my interest, it was the response from the Fraud Team.
The question asked was this.
My girlfriend couldn’t connect a new computer printer, so she called a customer support number she found online. They remote-accessed our computer via Any-Desk. Now our bank account is missing money. Scammed?
