Sanibel Island Road Trip! Best Shelling Spot in Florida (U.S. Travel Guide)
In this video, join Gar and Ann from 2gethersomewhere for a day exploring Sanibel Island, Florida. Sanibel Island is known for two things, as one of the best beaches in the US for shelling, and for its several wildlife refuges. We will show you what it's like to visit Sanibel Island's white beaches to search for shells, and then will take you to a local shell shop to see some of the more exotic shells found on the beaches. We will also travel to the east end of the island to hike to an old lighthouse which was built in the late 1800s, and then to the north end of the island to explore the largest wildlife refuge on the island called J.N.
