Sitery.dev launch
Since I completed my coding bootcamp in June 2020 I have been on a journey that has taken me to this point🤙 I have finally finished my sitery.dev website. And my next mission is to pursue my first paid freelance job.
I've had a varied career and never felt satisfied 😃 I did a bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Sociology which landed me a job as a car salesmen for Honda😅. When they discovered I was into the geeky stuff they sent me to the Honda head office to do leasing. I got so fed up with looking at lease paperwork and tbh I was ready to walk out!... At the time I was and still am into photography and video. I managed to get a job on P&O cruise ships as a photographer. I drank and partied my way through the ocean. Came back on dry land and got more sales jobs selling advertising space and then found myself selling tech.
Fed up with selling and curious about the IT world I did a Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering. Which landed me a job in the FinTech Industry as a technical analyst.
Then my wifey and I moved to Melbourne and I'm back in a sales role selling Tax Software.
One day I realised that I could mix creativity with development. I had tried coding in the past but it was confusing. In March 2020 I decided to go on another journey. I signed up to the General Assembly coding bootcamp which was expensive. Honestly I don't know if it was worth it 😂 but I sure as hell can't learn on my own.
Now I find myself fascinated with web development. I really envy people that are satisfied with what they do... Let's see where this will take me.
