1891 Water Main Replacement | Old North End
We build infrastructure to last! Our crews recently replaced 1,000 linear feet of water main and added new fire hydrants in an Old North End alley. The old main, a cast iron pipe installed in 1891—predating Colorado Springs Utilities—has served our community much longer than expected. The new pipe will improve water quality and reliability and increase water flow for fire protection for decades to come.
