Catch and Release Isn't Always the Right Answer
While the catch-and-release ethic has been an important part of sport fishing for decades, fisheries managers have learned that it isn't the end-all of sound management strategies. In fact, keeping some fish can actually help the long-term health of some fisheries and create better fishing in the long run.
