Browning Auto 5 Recoil Pad Replacement
This Browning Auto-5 has been in my safe for several years. The length of pull is too long for me, so I am replacing the recoil pad with a standard butt plate. That should reduce the length of pull by a little over an inch. These inertia style semi-autos should not really need a recoil pad, in my opinion. If the spring is in good shape, it should absorb enough of the energy to make the felt recoil quite manageable.
