There have been many records hit in recent times over the course of the top star tournament. Last week, we had our best and most expensive SVS ever, and this week was more of the same. Server 851, is a top 5 global Top War server, with incredible depth and is unquestionably the strongest server we have ever faced. This was a brutal match, with over 8k gems burned and over 300k odinium repair bill that exhausted my 1.5 years of savings.
Initially, they had a delayed attack, which left us uncertain as to where they would be striking from, and when they came down, they came down hard with their whales leading the charge. Their mid 50M CP players were more than happy to hit me through weakening towers and force me away from the frontline. We were able to keep the score 0-0 for the first 30 minutes until slowly but surely we were losing ground and eventually lost complete control of our quest ruin. After the exhausting ruin battle, we attempted to control our cap, but were overwhelmed by their superior troop count and depth. We then made a last ditch offense effort that ended with me getting zeroed in 1 march, which has not happened in many months. Lots of key moments. Brilliantly done S851.
Key moments:
4:30 - the assault begins at the quest ruin.
5:55 - taking some heavy hits from mid 50M CP players through weakening towers. After realizing I was losing vals, I decided to move further back as I was not trading cost effectively.
14:47 - getting mucused which was unusual for a player of my size.
17:45 - losing control of the quest ruin. Momentum of the battle shifted pretty quickly after this point.
21:50 - Reining cap and then losing it to 851.
25:23 - moving to offense, and getting burned in 1 march by Boomshak, a whale class player. I haven't taken a hit like that since 1527 was at their prime. Battle report at 26:00.
