The exceptional New Album, Kindreams from Halindir, the man behind the magical musical compositions for Mimir’s Brunnr, is out NOW.
Kindreams is Halindir’s 6th album and on this outing has gathered together a whole host of talented folk to collaborate with.
The immensely talented Olivia Key, and Hiraeth contribute Their stunning vocals to the tracks “Eternity” and “Blood of Spring”.
Even I (Phil from Mimir’s brunnr) appear on a couple of tracks, “Eternity” and “sweet are the dreams”.
My Daughter even lends her voice to the introduction composition “Smørblomst”
Kindreams draws its inspiration from Halindir’s homeland, the ancient Danish landscapes and all the ancestral stories that have been played out upon its hallowed soil. With Spring in full bloom, the album also pays homage to the beauty of this time of year. The eternal nature of life, her struggles and the divine beauty within
Halindir himself simply sums up the concept behind the album using the words from a Mimir’s Brunnr piece “Land, Children and Community”
