Arvenbüel DRIVE spectacular view over Walensee ROAD TRIP
The district of Arvenbüel is located high above Lake Walensee on a high plateau. The district between Chapf, Leistchamm and Gulme extends at about 1300 m above sea level.
Around 200 people live in the district all year round. In addition, numerous holiday homes and apartments are available. The place is not chosen as the favorite holiday home for a reason. The popular family ski area offers many mostly easy slopes and is therefore particularly popular with children and beginners. The Amden Ski School is located in the Arvenbüel. In addition, the Arvenbüel is the best starting point for winter hikes, snowshoe tours or ski tours.
A spectacular view over Walensee, Glarus Alps and the Linth area opens up from the Chapf viewpoint. The viewpoint is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region and can be reached via a leisurely walk in about 20 minutes from the center of Arvenbüel.
During the summer half-year, the Arvenbüel is a popular starting point for hikes. Especially the Ammler Höhenweg and the summit hike to the Leistchamm are the popular hiking destinations.
