The George Lucas Cope Spiral
Here we have a video that I didn't not plan on making until about 3 weeks ago. The think that sparked the idea for the video was the comment battle I had (which I mention in this video) and the "The Prequels Are Better Movies Than You Deserve" video.
There were a few more things that came to mind after I was about 90% done with the editing and I didn't include because I wanted to be do with this video, some stuff that I did think of before but forgot to include, and some stuff that I just cut because I didn't think they were thank important to my points I was making. I might make a follow up video including some of that stuff if this video does good enough and/or I feel like I have enough to say to make another big video like this one. I feel like I should have gone into George not being the director on Empire and Jedi or The Despecialized Edition and its importance per example.
I tried to be as good faith as I could be in this video and I hope it comes off that way.

So a few hours after uploading this I noticed that PSA Sitch (S Class is best class btw) was in a debate with 2 of the 3 people that were mentioned in this video on an episode of EFAP.... Why didn't I notice this before? I'm gonna watch it and post what I though of it afterwards here I guess. My prediction is that my boi Sitch will make some good points and that Adam will let his elephant destroy everything... AND HE IS NOT EVEN IT THE DEBATE.

So I'm 7 hours in to the 10 hour stream and I think that fundamentally the conversation is about conventionality vs post hoc reasoning. Sitch mentioned this a few times. Not being able to asses if a scene was poorly written and the defense for that scenes was an attempt to "patch the plot hole" or whether there was never a plot hole at all and it was all intentional. I really wish I had watch the debate before uploading this video because I think I could have included some of this into my very first point of this video "But he did it on purpose" I should have gone into pattern recognition and other stuff like that, that makes us read into things were there isn't much there to read.
Like I predicted Sitch made good points, but I think he and glib got bogged down in little things like how the droids work. Glib came out hitting hard and fast which I liked but I think people took it as him just being a jerk, later in the convo he does apologies and cools it down. Anomaly Inc. seems like a cool dude, which is what I thought even before watching the debate, out of the 3 that I mentioned in the video, I rank him as most good faith. Rick Worley didn't say much in the convo which I though was funny, he seemed to be upset with the fact that they wouldn't just agree with him, which is something that he said to glib 2 times. TSWG replaced Rick about half way into it, she hasn't made any good arguments I don't think. She seems nice, and I have seen some of her videos before, but I just don't think she is good are debates.
