I bought a Le Creuset Enamel-on-Steel Halo 1-1/2-Quart Teakettle, in the beautiful Dijon color, and less than a week later, the handle became loose.
I'm extremely disappointed, this is an expensive product, and the quality of the product and assembly doesn't reflect that.
The plastic material of the handle might very well be heat resistant, as the manufacturer says, but it's also heat conductive, so after boiling water in the kettle, I still have to use something to grab it, because the handle gets hot.
