Battling congenital lymphedema since childhood, Nguyen Thi Loan from Vietnam is writing a new chapter in her life. With the financial support of a Taiwan firm operating in the Southeast Asian country, Loan traveled to Taiwan for a series of complex surgeries saving her leg from amputation and giving her a second chance in life.
