Student entrepreneur Patricia Garcia has spent time on college campuses including Cal Berkeley, MIT, and the University of Southern California. As if textbooks and tuition weren't spendy enough, university-branded swag came with its own hefty price tag. So Garcia started unithrifts to create a platform where students can buy and sell their gently used college gear. Garcia says the startup is dedicated to driving accessibility, sustainability, and community.
