Innovation talk #3 AI for Exploration: bridging the gap between ground and space | Space Bites
AI is gaining a growing role in #space exploration, colonisation and the search for life beyond Earth. Soon #AI technologies currently under investigation in development, operations and data exploitation will be able to provide applications that will significantly expand the capabilities of space systems.
This talk discusses the role of AI in transforming #SpaceExploration. Autonomy, ambient intelligence, operational intelligent assistance, machine learning and #data analytics will be game-changers for space exploration.
Questions that are addressed include:
►How is AI is changing the nature of space exploration?
►What opportunities does AI provide, and which risks do we need to consider?
►And some food for thought - looking at not only what AI can do for space exploration, but what we can do to foster AI in space exploration?
During this Space Bites talks, Simone Fratini discussed with us the role of AI in transforming Space Exploration.
