Originally, this was supposed to be a "Christmas special" for 25th December of 2021 but there were a lot, an absolute lot of technical issues with this one. The biggest one other than figuring out how the cinematic tools of Rust worked was probably that thanks to my lack of paying attention. Force wipe happened and the whole set that I built for the narrator was gone. :( I had to work with the limited amount of demos that I recorded.
I also tried to do some voice acting and learned that for the first time. I probably shouldn't have practiced or focused on the voice of a crazy guy living all alone by himself with his Zombie Butler Alfred as a first go. I was practicing and working so hard on this video with my mental health being in a bad spot at that time, I will admit when making this video, I crashed hard. This is the big reason that the cinematics in part 2, is lacking and very focused on one spot. I ran out of demos to work with and I really didn't want to be cooked up in isolation IRL doing crazy voices while talking to the walls and mirrors of my place. So yes... I'm not the most happy about how the cinematics of this one turned out but after 350+ hours, I just had to put an end to the video and decided to upload it with lower cinematics rather than scrapping it.
I'm still extremely happy with the overall narrative and message of the movie ;)
