Ukraine Captures 28 Russian Towns
Ukraine has captured over 28 Russian cities! They now control 386 square miles and are continuing to advance. They’re already over 8 miles deep into Russia. Zelensky says that this is the finale for Putin. It’s being reported that they plan to stay for awhile and they’ve brought equipment to entrench themselves. They’ve also sent more units to the front. Ukraine destroyed a natural gas metering station, nearly 50% of all Russian gas exports flow through it. The local governor says part of the reason they can’t stop Ukraine’s special military operation is because some of the Ukrainian troops have fake Russian IDs. Another issue is that Russian soldiers keep blowing each other up and others are reportedly defecting to Ukraine. Russian flags are being removed and replaced with Ukrainian flags in the occupied areas. And Ukraine has acknowledged its new legal obligations and is taking over humanitarian services for the Russians in Kursk. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said in Kyiv today “Putin started it - kick his ass” and then thanked Biden for the support he’s been giving Ukraine. It’s been pretty surreal to see American military equipment that was designed to march on Moscow in the 1980s now find its way to Russian streets.
