Kaze Ni Nare - A Minoru Suzuki Origin Story
Minoru Suzuki is a Japanese professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist, currently working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Suzuki’s background is rather different from other wrestlers that we have covered on this channel. While his wrestling journey started at the NJPW dojo like many other Japanese wrestlers things got more real for Suzuki in 1993 when he formed the Pancrase MMA promotion with Masakatsu Funaki. This would be instrumental in paving the way for mixed martial arts in Japan.
