First Duck Hunt of the Season - Solo from My Boat Blind
It’s late November and this is my first duck hunt of the season. I’m running solo in the duck boat with a 6-mile run downriver to one of my go-to spots — a place that usually holds a pile of birds. When I arrive, there are well over 100 ducks sitting in the pocket. Now it’s just a matter of whether they come back.
