RIP Bauernfeind Skatepark NBG
Earlier this month we've lost a trusted friend that will forever have a special place in my heart. This early nineties skatepark, located next to Nurembergs exhibition centre, got it's name "Bauernfeind" from the close-by subway station. It might look like a crusty, worn-down piece of crap, but it was something special, a safe-space for learning, experimenting and for those that simply wanted to escape the crowds. Mixing this with it's beautiful location in one of Nurembergs largest recreational areas and you'll understand why many of us locals are going to miss this place.
