Fixing No Audio Devices in Windows 10

Command shown in the video:
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

We've all had the experience of wanting to throw away our computer, and this feeling becomes even stronger when we lose the sound: we can't hear music, we can't watch videos, we can't play games with our friends with the microphone turned on, we can't Skype with our families... the list goes on.

When you right-click the volume icon and click Playback Devices, a message appears that says "No audio device is installed." And there's no playback device to be found.

And the annoyance continues. In the lower-right corner of the PC desktop, we see a red X next to the volume icon. When we hover over it, the message "No audio output device is installed" appears. If this is what's bothering you, you'll be relieved, because it's not a difficult problem to fix. In many cases, the audio problem is usually caused by faulty drivers.

This tutorial applies to computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets with Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 7 operating systems. It works for all major computer manufacturers (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).
