I've shared this lesson at local high schools, I make watching this a requirement with all of my first time homebuyer clients, and I've shared it at the University of Washington where I am an affiliate professor, and I can tell you, these 6 simple steps work regardless of your age.
I thought in my 20's that being wealthy was just a dream, but regardless of your income, regardless of your situation right now, there are things you can do to prepare yourself for financial freedom. Financial freedom and wealth in general is something the nearly every American strives for. Money doesn't necessarily make your happier, it can however make life a bit easier. Come with me on this journey.
As I write this, I am 44-years old, a veteran of the mortgage industry, I'm currently debt-free (with the exception of my mortgage) and have about 8-years left of saving to hit my "financial freedom" mark. Let's get started! The best time to start was yesterday, the second best time is TODAY!
