Ellis is Ellen Sofie Mosebekk from Oslo, now living in Belgium. In 2019 she released her debut album “Hverdag & Fest” with reworks of soul- and reggae classics and self-written lyrics in Norwegian.
Ellis gives you a love song from the finnish forests.. Frans Oskar Merikanto was a composer that made songs from swedish poems in the start of the last century, one of them Där Björkarna Susa that was written by the swedish poet Viktor Sund. The song is about summer and love and have been recorded by several bands and "dansbands". Now Ellis makes a fresh version of this beautiful song!
