How to schedule auto shutdown on Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Kali...)

You can do this process both in windows and Linux it is very useful feature of an operating system. For example suppose you are downloading something that will need 30 minutes or one hour then you can set a timer of one hour or more after which your system will automatically turn off. This feature has versatile use cases.
