Construction of The Tallest Rockfill Dam in the world
Lianghekou dam,the tallest concrete-face rock-fill dam in the world with 295m high,will completed in 2021.Located in Yajiang County, Sichuan Province. This giant dam will use 20 times rock more than great pyramid.
Upstream of this dam,a giant beam bridge named"Lianghekou dam bridge" is under construction,with more than 270m high,pier 172m tall, main span 220m,it will become the third highest beam bridge in the world, only behind Liuguanghe and Xixihe bridge.
