this is a short clip featuring the mighty iron horse rambles excursion trains ran by the Reading and Northern Railroad. engine 1 is the T-1 class steam locomotive #2102. After a meticulous 6-year restoration, this iconic engine returned to service in 2022. It’s one of only four remaining operational T-1s worldwide! engine 2 is the beautiful blue #425. the 425 (nicknamed the Blue commit) is a 4-6-2 light pacific type steam locomotive built by BLW originally for the GM&N in 1928. It weighs 110 tons, with a tender weighing 91 tons. The engine runs on coal (with an 18 ton capacity) and carries i,500 gallons of water. Great power for this one of a kind steam excursion special.
