Imagine pulling data from your database with a simple REST call instead of launching SQL Management Studio. With Azure Data API Builder (DAB) you can do just that. One JSON file tells DAB which tables to expose, and in seconds it spins up both REST and GraphQL endpoints. Swagger UI and an OpenAPI spec appear automatically. The same file lets you set roles, filters, and row-level security— with no code required.
In this session I will show what comes “out of the box,” how to stand it up in minutes, and what can go wrong. It will be 60 minutes walk through DAB from four angles: a casual user, a hands-on developer, a cautious admin, and a data architect.
