Faustus "The Devils Chain"
Roger Gregg's DR. FAUSTUS - a slideshow documenting the workshop exploring Gregg's integration of the creation and performance of live music and sound scapes into theatrical performance. Based on Christopher Marlowe's DOCTOR FAUSTUS adapted by Roger Gregg. Music, songs and sound scapes composed and arranged by Roger Gregg and performed by the participants. 'The Devil's Chain' - a song from the musical. The recording is a rough demo made for workshopping/rehearsal purposes. Much of the live sound design integrated into the highly stylised imagistic production is created through the use of acoustic 'old time radio' sound effects as well as a vast array of musical instruments played by the cast.
