This is my first time playing Diablo IV. Went with Rogue and followed the build on Icy-Veins ( https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/rogue/bu... ) to save time since early access period is so short. Turned out to be quite fun and possibly broken after I had added some other aspects to my gear.
The game looks beautiful and like Diablo III I'll probably be playing through it at least once. Not sure if the end game loop will be enjoyable and we'll probably not fully know everything about it until the game releases.
I'm not sure why The Butcher was so hard to deal with or difficult. Either it's some weird scaling issue or it's some inside joke I'm unfamiliar with because it's difficulty vs reward didn't make any sense compared to any other boss we faced in the early access beta.
Also either the world bosses have a minimum required number of players to defeat it or it doesn't scale very well or there were just a lot of players with not very good builds because the one and only time we came across the world boss we weren't able to kill it before the timer was up.
One thing that really annoyed me about the game was it's odd behavior with ShadowPlay / Geforce Experience and the overlay. The game would either not allow it to hook into it when set to Fullscreen or it would just not start up in Fullscreen even when set to it. Trying to record from desktop caused even more issues. Just seem odd to have those kinds of issues even when running a recent Nvidia driver thanks to BF2042's useless minimum driver requirement.
