Celestial Navigation relies on Flat Earth Euclidean Geometry to measure an Elevation Angle to determine a Circle of Equal Altitude in order to get a fix on your location.
You CAN NOT measure an Elevation Angle from a Curved, Spherical surface. Elevation Angle measurements are ONLY possible on a Flat Earth.
A CIRCLE of Equal Altitude is a 2D FLAT circle, a horizontal plane, utilised in Celestial Navigation to determine your location fix. This is ONLY possible on a FLAT Earth, there are NO horizontal planes on a sphere, nor can a 2D FLAT circle be utilised on a sphere!
Celestial Navigation relies on a 90° angle from a star’s GP to the surface of the Earth. You CAN NOT have a 90° angle on a curved, spherical surface. EVERY aspect, measurement and practice of Celestial Navigation is ONLY possible on a FLAT EARTH!
