RT 4 on ASME VIII Div 1 Pressure Vessel - API 510 and API SIFE Exam Questions!
Bob Rasooli explains about RT 4 on ASME VIII Div.1 pressure vessel which is a typical exam question on API 510 pressure vessel inspector exam and API SIFE (source inspector fixed equipment) exam. When none of RT 1, RT 2 and RT 3 is applicable, then it would be RT 4. For example portion of vessels falls under RT 1 requirements and other portion under RT 3 requirements like tall pressure vessel with higher wall thickness in lower courses and thinner wall thickness in the top.
