Textures - A dawles synth story (Deep House - 122bpm)
A little more on my quest about finding sounds and mix them together without any daw using only the machines.
For the curious ones, I'm using:
Digitakt (Master Midi and Master compressor, it receives all the inputs and "glue" them together)
Apollo mini (Bass)
TR6s (Drums)
Microkorg mk1 (pads, leads, etc)
Behind scene there's a MIDI Thru port to send midi from the digitakt to all other devices and keep them in sync, and a behringer 1802 mixer to group the synts and send the output to the Digitakt.
My goal is to build a case, as portable as possible, with my essential set of synths that allow me to create full pieces, and only needing one power supply and one speaker. That way I can travel with my gear and play anywhere I want :). There are a couple of upgrades I can do before completing the project, I would prefer to use something like an Analog heat as a master compressor instead of the Digitakt, and some Fx at the end of the chain, not sure if change the mixer for one with builted in fx, or use something like a kaosspad at the end to loop and break the sound, more in a dj kind of way.
What about you? how is your set up? Any comment, critic, suggestion, are welcome here, this is the testing stage.
