Peter Green - I Loved Another Woman - 1965 Gibson Falcon GA-19-RVT
Here's an example of a 1965 Gibson Falcon GA-19-RVT with the tone mod done, a la Skip Simmons on The Truth Of Vintage Amps podcast. Very simple mod: the 3 pin Resistor-Capacitor network element is removed (that reduces signal quite a bit), and a .047 uf coupling cap replaces the .001 uf cap that fed the RC network component.
Volume is only on 1.5, and "Reverberation" on the amp around 4. The Guitar is a kit tele from Solo Music Gear. Routed out for humbuckers, and Dimarzio 36th Anniversary installed. A la Jeff Beck Tele-Gib. Pickups wired out of phase for the Peter Green tone.
