In this introductory lecture of the course, we look at what is Biostatistics, and its applications. What are the various databases which biostatisticians can make use of to do research and take findings. In this course, students will be introduced and taught regarding the different concepts in biostatistics including descriptive statistics , inferential statitistics , survival analysis, correlation and regression analysis. Also, the students having no programming experience will be taught python as programming language and the complete course will go in hands-on mode to help students understand the application part as well along with theory.
