When you are new to making music, there are a lot of things to figure out - one of which is drums. One hack I have found helpful to pushing me to produce songs is using Maschine Drum Patterns. I have bought a lot of Maschine Expansions and with each one of them comes a ton of drum patterns for you to use. You can use these within Maschine OR as shown in this video, you can drag out the drum midi to your linear DAW, which I show in Studio One. I am sure you can do this in other DAWs like Ableton as well. This video is geared towards beginner producers or people that have beat block and are looking for new ideas for their drum patterns.
