Recording a Self-Published Audiobook! —
Top lessons I've learned recording the audiobook for my self-published book on video storytelling, 6 Second Stories.
1. It will take longer than you expect. Give yourself grace but plan ahead!
2. ALWAYS read your book out loud (and record it) before you publish. I caught so many typos, grammatical mistakes, and just bad writing once I read it out loud versus just reading it with my eyes.
3. Do this when you write the book and release it, especially if it's nonfiction!
