In this 13th part of the UE5 climbing system tutorial series, we'll learn hanging on a ledge while falling down. But that's not all - we'll also cover how to modify Mixamo animations to fit your needs, so you can customize your climbing system even further. However, there's an issue with the animation we want to use as a root motion animation, so we'll need to modify it. I tried modifying the animation in UE5, but it gave some really weird results. Therefore, I decided to export it and modify it in Maya, which is the software we'll use for this tutorial. You can use any 3D animation software you prefer, though, like Blender.
