1. login to your wordpress dashboard.
2. go to appearance / customize /site identity there you will find site title and logo identity.
3. Once you upload log click publish.
for favicon icon you will find a site icon below site title and logo identity upload your file there
to make your logo having a transparent background you have to upload your icon in .png format.
