Dustyn-Block Vargas was a young man like any other, dedicated to his work and taking the first steps toward building his adult life with his partner, Amanda Middlebrook. One day, he started feeling unwell, with severe symptoms that seemed to worsen rapidly. Without much concern, he went to the doctor for tests, thinking he was suffering from allergies. That day, his life changed forever. Dustyn was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis, a disease that affects the bile ducts, which carry bile from the liver to the small intestine.
