Fung Tak Park
Fung Tak is a public theme park which features selected settings from the Chinese Classical Novel "Journey to the West",known in the westas being the tale of the Monkey King.Sun Wukong. The 1.07 hectare park was open to the public in 1995.It is within walking distance of Wong Tai Sin Temple in Wong Tai Sin District in North Kowloon,HongKong and was designed to fit in the area's topography.
The park is divided into four play zones with specific themes, namely the "Monkey King's Paradise","Mountain of the five fingers","Crystal Palace"," and "Flamed Mountain ".
The Monkey King's Paradise is characterized with a cave with waterfalls. The Mountain of Five Fingers (of Buddha) is the place where the Monkey King was trapped,while the Crystal Palace was where the Monkey King got the mace which become his weapon.The Flaming Mountain is the home of the "Bull Demon" and "Princess with an iron fan".
