Halloween has a Michael Meyers problem- wait, I just used that for Saw X. Halloween Ends is the finale to the David Gordon Green Halloween trilogy, and the current finale to the series as a whole. Much like Saw X, it’s a deeply strange movie- Google lists it as Horror/Romance, and while I got a big, fat question mark for that one, it certainly is different. Halloween Ends, which was released in October 2022, was written simultaneously with the tremendously messy Halloween Kills by different writing teams, an idea that is… also really strange, and adds a disjointed element to these movies. Also like Saw X, it’s a mess, a hard movie to talk about, to many a bad movie, all because what it’s trying to do is so odd.
