In this video you will learn how to fix the anti-cheat not installed error in Fortnite step by step. I will show you exactly how to repair the Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye services so you can launch the game without any launch errors or crashes on your PC.

The problem usually appears as a pop-up window stating Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed or Failed to initialize BattlEye service. This happens when the game files are corrupted or if the anti-cheat service was skipped during the initial installation. It is a common issue on Windows 10 and Windows 11 that prevents Fortnite from opening even if your internet connection is working perfectly.

Follow these steps to fix the Fortnite anti-cheat error:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher and go to your Library.
2. Click the three dots next to Fortnite and select Manage, then click the Verify button to repair any missing files.
3. If that does not work, click the folder icon next to Installation to open the install location.
4. Navigate to the folder: FortniteGame then Binaries and then Win64.
5. Find the EasyAntiCheat folder and right-click on EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe to create a shortcut.
6. Right-click the new shortcut, go to Properties, and at the end of the Target box add a space followed by the word repair then click OK and run the shortcut as administrator.
7. For the BattlEye error, go back to the Win64 folder, open the BattlEye folder, and right-click Install_BattlEye.bat to run it as administrator.
8. Restart your computer and launch Fortnite from the Epic Games Launcher.
