Viral! Driver in Dairi Assaulted for Refusing to Pay Rp 2,000
DAIRI, KOMPAS.TV - A car driver was assaulted in the Laipondom Forest area, Dairi Regency, after refusing to give a man Rp 2,000.
Video footage circulating shows the victim being hit by the perpetrator, resulting in a cut to his lip.
The incident occurred while the victim was passing through the Laipondom Forest area. Initially, an argument broke out between the perpetrator and the victim after the victim refused his request for money. The argument escalated into violence.
The perpetrator has now been arrested by the police and faces up to two years in prison.
