On Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024, WiLS was joined by Schlager Group's Founder and CEO, Neil Schlager, who provided an overview of a new digital platform, Schlager Digital Library (SDL)
Schlager Digital Library (SDL) is an essential collection of over 2,500 primary sources. The SDL brings together in 1 place all of Schlager's acclaimed, award-winning reference sets, comprising 27 publications as of Fall 2024. The SDL differs from most other digital primary source collections in being entirely curated and hand-selected by scholars. As such, it offers a distinctive dual purpose: Students can use it as a research and reference tool, and instructors can use it as a course materials solution, assigning content directly on their syllabus. Supporting courses of study across U.S and world history, ethnic and gender studies, American government, and religious studies, the SDL was launched in the Spring of 2024 and is already found in a number of leading institutions, including Oklahoma State University, Youngstown State University, the University of Wyoming, South Texas College, and the University of Alaska - Fairbanks.
