The Stall Gimmick: The Norton Refund Scam
This was recorded in full while I was at work earlier today. I've never gotten a refund scam email on my personal Gmail account before. Those are trash and the scammers ended up paying dearly for it.
The Stall Gimmick is a specialty of @BeaHindebars In the imaginary Scambaiting trading card game, this card delays the scammer's ability to get through their script at a reasonable pace. The scambaiter will allow the scammer to move first. Once the scammer has read their script to point where remote access is requested, the scambaiter will delay the scammer from reaching the next part of their scam/script by playing dumb or by flat out stalling them out for extended periods of time with gibberish, nonsense or by failing to follow their instructions. This causes the scammers to repeat themselves constantly in utter frustration. This technique doesn't always work for me as I am neither "posh" nor can the scammers tolerate my excessive ramblings.
