1 year of Travelling (highlights)
🥳 WOW.. Where do I start?! 🥳
Today marks 1 whole year since we left our lives in the U.K. to travel! But we’re not done yet! We have a bunch of countries left to visit before we head back home! 🌎
🇦🇺 We started our adventure in Australia, where we worked, lived and travelled for 10 months!
We carried out tough farm work in rural Australia and saw some incredible wildlife and nature on our road trips up the east coast!
Australia really felt like home, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss it..! I’ll be back! 🇦🇺
After 10 Months we left Australia for our Asian travels!
We started in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Where we got tattoos from a 107 year old tribal tattoo artist, swam with whale sharks and went canyoneering..!
We then headed off to South Korea 🇰🇷 where we explored Seoul, saw North Korea from the DMZ, and wandered through the traditional villages!
After this, we left for Hanoi, Vietnam! 🇻🇳 I fell in love with the old quarter and loved exploring the streets! We took a tour to Ninh Binh which is the old capital with some incredible landscapes & then ventured to Halong Bay for a breathtaking slice of nature 😍
We strolled down train street, drank egg coffe and watched a world famous water puppet display!
After Vietnam we left for where we currently are.. Cambodia!! 🇰🇭
We started our adventure in Siem Reap where we saw the famous mine rats, who can sniff out TNT to help sniff out landmines. Cambodia still has a high amount of landmines which they’re actively diffusing!
🌅 We explored the worlds oldest temple, Angkor Wat, as well as the surrounding temples.. what a beautiful area..! 😍
Unfortunately myself and Emma came down with sickness and spent a few days in Siem Reap, in bed! 😷
🌎 I’ve had such an incredible time over the last year.. I’ve grown as a person, made new friends, worked and lived in a new country, and seen some incredible sights! - Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of the journey 💚
