95-97 Explorer LOM Bypass for Lowbeams
Applicable to 1995-1997 Ford Explorers with the Eddie Bauer or Limited trim packages.
In this video I will be showing you how to bypass your Lamp Outage Module if you had yours burn out like mine was when i bought this car. In one forum i found that pins 1 and 11 are power on and drivers lowbeam, and that pins 12 and 13 are passengers lowbeam and power for pass low. Most people say to cut and solder those ones together, but i am showing you a 5 dollar fix, i used a wire stripper to expose a small amount of wire and then a T-Tap kit from O'reillys to get a connector on it. I then took some wire i had laying around, you could cut the dimmer wire off an aftermarket stereo harness and use that, put the male end of the t tap kit on it and cross the wires that way. I felt nobody had made it this simple and it really is an easy fix, dont drive with no headlights!
